What can speed up the AI processing?

Hello,

Finally was able to install the game but was completely turned off by the very long time it takes for the AI to "make its turn". Can last for 2 minutes at the beginning and i read when empires develop it can be even longer than that...

My question is, what speed up that process? More RAM or more cores? Currently have 2gig and a core 2 E7200 (2,53 GHZ)

more ram, you could OC your processor, the speed of you HD.

not to see the AI movement almost takes halth the time.

Your HD no matter its speed, if it is full it will take more time to search the bits for the game, so keeping your HD below 50% usage, is my goal always, for other people I recommend to let it to tops 75% filled.

You can always defrag your HD also is a great measure
