    Default Sata to ide issue

    Got a new CD/DVD drive to replace my old one only to discover that my only working sata slots were taken by my hard drives. So any one know of any good motherboard side ide to sata converters? Ant tips on how to set it up will also be appreciated.

    There is no such thing as sata to ide converter as far as I'm aware, you probably want yourself a PCI sata controller card or something, akin to this or this.
