Simple Instructions Please

I've started downloading this mod, I have a 4.1 patch, a 4.2 patch, a final patch, KGCM and a kingdoms grand campaign M0 or something, and I have no idea what to do, some say I need to unpack, some say I dont, some say it doesnt work on steam some say it does, some say it might have some errors if somehting happens,

SO PLEASE!!!!!!!

Can I have a simple download and install instruction as I dont know which one to believe. I would like to try this mod but I'm 5 min away from giving up.

you only need 3.0 and 4.2 with no unpacking required

First, you start with 3.0, get it here > http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=139048. There is no need to bother with the display fix. I believe it is included in the later downloads by default.

Next, 4.2 (it includes the hotfix) > http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=170021. Also remember to grab the zip file in the second post of that thread, it deals with the installer not being able to drop empty folders into the installation (I think...either that or it makes the menus more stable).

I don't have any idea about Steam, though, sorry. And I don't think you need to unpack M2TW (unfortunately, I have no idea about that either since as I unpacked mine for some personal modding a while back, although I did have KGCM installed before doing that, so you'll most likely be fine).

Just saw "steam" and shiver...
Install the mod like its descripted above, then rename a kingdom-campaign, for an example teutonic, in
teutonic_original or something like that and rename KGC in teutonic.
Then start the teutonic-campaign and enjoy the mod.

At least this worked for me with every kingdom-mod and i played many of them.
If that not work... well, good luck.

Alright, I'll use 3.0, i think that's the one I'm downloading, and patch it with only 4.2.

I've worked the register to get other mods working so I'm sure this one will work alike that as well.

If someone wants to know how I'll write it down, but can't be asked now as I've installed 3 mods already and dont want to see regedit more than necessary.

Ok, downlading 3.0 completely wrecked my system, internet explorer started crashing, then explorer and if I put my cursor anywhere near that file my who system goes ballistic, and the system respore point helps, but only if I'm lucky. I've downloaded it twice now and it has doen the same thing both times.

Id jsut like to install this and get on with my life, why does there always have to be problems.

Let me guess, downloading this from somewhere else takes a lot of work and effort?

the problem in on your end nothing is wrong with this mod. Buy a new computer.

Nothing is wrong with my computer, every other file downloads perfectly and quickly, this file

Your problem sounds like your available RAM reached its limit, or that the file you download is corrupted.
Disable some programs at startup, download from somewhere else, or give up (oh and personal advice give up on internet explorer, Microsoft simply don't know how to make a stable web browser)

Any other download links? Maybe if one ofyou have the setup you could post it somewhere or make a torrent?
