latest install procedure?

Sorry to ask but most "informational" stickiied threads are confused and confusing...

How to properly install version 4.2 of this mod?

4 questions:
1) unpack or not
2) install 1.5 or not
3) delete geography files or not
4) install hotfix or 4.2 alone is enough

No need to unpack M2TW. Just have it installed, patched to 1.2 (don't use 1.1), then install Kingdoms (which is 1.4, and auto-patches M2TW 1.2 to 1.3 - the stand-alone 1.3 patch is for people WITHOUT Kingdoms, although it probably wouldn't do any harm except take extra time). I'd say also go for 1.5, there *might* be a few [extra] bugs (that the 1.5 Kingdoms patch clears up) if you don't.

Then it's KGCM 3.0 > 4.2 > 4.2 hotfix.

I Assume by "3.0" you mean 3.4 as this is the only version for which a link is given in the stickies.

As well, couldnt find a link to a "4.2 hotfix" file, but i read that the 4.2 version was directly hotfixed by Scarface.

Hopefully i can get to play a stable version soon

The links there might work. Yep, one on Filefront in that topic for 3.0. And, yeah, I think 4.2 now includes the hotfix - the download thread post that has the download link in has been updated since it's original date of post.

Imho there are way too many stickies and none give a condensed and simple installation process.
I spend a lot of time reading the entire installation threads to find all the bits I needed!
The mod of this forum should consider suppressing outdated threads and create a new complete and accurate one

I agree with this, it is a bit messy to figure it out, it is not impossible, but it could be way easier

Almost correct. The Graphical fix is not required, it is included in the v4.2 patch. See post #1 in the KGCM v4.2 install instructions.

Must depend on which version then, because the one i downloaded either didnt include did, or it didnt install itself! And i couldnt remember which link i downloaded even if my life depended on it
