Playing on normal

Hey guys,

I am playing as Macedon, and im like 100 turns in the game. But i just read the 'House Rules' and it says its much better if you play on H/VH - H/H, but im playing Normal/Normal, is this a total game breaker and should i start over?

just continue and finish the campaign whenever you are ready for it. When you are playing on H/VH you will dream about the time when you played it on N/N!!

my men fall like flies on VH and the enemy is as hard as a rock. you have to use complicated flanking maneuvers if you wish to win but my lazy tactics involve charing head on so H/N for meh

I always Used to play in VH/VH , then when i got my hands on RS1.6i played H/VH sinds evryone said Vh/Vh on RS is bugged, but H/VH is most awsome to play RS, but if your a rookie in TWR/RS then just Finish the game on medium then.

If you enjoy the current difficulty, feel free to continue playing. Normal is fine, not a game breaker at all. Most of the posts above are from people who consider the game far to easy anyway, so they up the difficulty.

I myself play on H/N, but have modded my export_descr_units with higher morale, decreased missile damage and lower lethality, making battles much longer and harder but not biased.

i actually attack en masse with reinforcements use AI control eat popcorn and watch TV comeback again then finish the job, what are your stacks for?

I play on H/H. Really, it's different for everyone.

If you're enjoying it, then continue. If you're steamrolling everybody and get 300 casualties in a major battle and have twenty stacks just sitting in italy, let alone how many are in the field, and are getting bored, restart on a higher difficulty.

I always just attack with one stack, managing two stacks is too much, I'll just have a seperate battle later on.

I enjoy playing battles on very hard. makes them longer, more interesting and the enemy does not waver as fast giving me more time for tactical maneuvers.
