Ones i know of are
Heroic
Decisive
Close
Total (I think?)
others I dunno.
The victories are these:
Decisive
Heroic
Close
Pyrrhic
Also the losses too the same way of
Decisive
crushing
close
pyrrhic
In term of the deeper sense of them and how correct the rating is:
It is totally crap at least and only few times correct rated by the game! Make by yourself next time in campaign the following test by saving the battle before starting it.
Fight it out as always until the message of the Victory comes and click ending. Surely it will be rated as most times as heroic.
The relosd the save, fight the same battle and when the message comes don't end the battle and fight further until the last enemy unit is killed or escaped over the red line. You will maybe surprised that it is now a close victory!
So the 1 million Doillar question is now: Why is it suddenly close and you understand that it is totally buggy!
Also is the rating of battles for autofight rediculous and the reason is for example and mostly that if one side has more artillery as the other one and no big matter baut the rest of the armies will be rated as being in advantage. Try this also out, but in custom battles with giving one time a bunch of artillery and one time only a few artillery to your AI enemy and take a look at the red/ green bar next to the radar map.![]()

I had a pyrrhic victory once-though I have to say it was deliberate-I wanted to see whether such a thing was possible.
Apart from those that Archimonday posted, I can't think of any others.
and honestly, they make no sense to me. I've utterly crushed an enemy army at or above my size, taking very few causalities % to my total army, and yet I'll get a close victory.
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
How are those types determined? Sometimes ETW says it was a close victory while I think decisive would be far more appropriate. I've yet to see a total or phyrrhic victory
how many enemies you kill compared to how many you lose, I think there is a ratio with the percentages. You've got to try very hard (or have the tactical mind of a goat) to get a pyyrhic victory though.
I think it depends on what percentage of your enemy you kill. Most heroic victories I get are hardly heroic- a large army crushing a tiny one.
Also you can get a "Valiant Defeat".
