    Kaizers Orchestra

Kaizers Orchestra is a Norwegian alternative rock group formed on January 1, 2000. The two leading members, vocalist Janove Ottesen and guitarist Geir Zahl, had known each other for years, and first played together in a band called Blod, Snått & Juling in 1989.
Kaizers Orchestra are notable for being among the first non-black metal Norwegian bands or artists singing in their native language to become popular in non-Scandinavian Europe. To other Norwegians, the band is instantly recognizable both because of their unique, unpredictable style, and because of vocalist Ottesen's marked Bryne dialect, shared by four of the other band members.

    CC Cowboys

CC Cowboys is a Norwegian Rock band from Fredrikstad. Their members are the vocalist and guitarist Magnus Grønneberg, their guitarist Jørn Christensen their bassist Per Vestaby and their drummer Agne Sæther. They recorded their first album in 1990 with the title Blodsbrødre.
The name of the band originates from the song C. C. Cowboys by Swedish rock group Imperiet.

    Jokke & Valentinerne

Jokke & Valentinerne were a Norwegian rock band. The late Joachim "Jokke" Nielsen was their frontman, songwriter and lead singer. Unlike many other Norwegian bands at the time, Jokke & Valentinerne wrote their lyrics in Norwegian. Jokke & Valentinerne were formed in 1982, and became one of the most popular acts of Oslo's underground rock scene. The band is regarded as one of the "Great Four" Norwegian-language rock bands of the 1980s, along with deLillos, Dum Dum Boys and Raga Rockers. The band drew their influences mainly from punk and American Southern rock. Jokke & Valentinerne split up in 1994, but did occasionally perform together after the split. Nielsen died in 2000 from a heroin overdose.

    Hellbillies

The Hellbillies are a Norwegian country rock group formed in 1990. As of 2008, they have released eleven albums (one of them being a compilation, and two of them are live-albums) and one concert-DVD. They are among Norway's most popular recording artists.
Their lyrics are written and sung in the dialect of the Hallingdal area of Norway and there is evidence of influence from traditional (folk) Norwegian music, giving a distinctive "Norwegian" flavor to their country music.
Their early albums often included songs originally recorded by country music artists from the USA with The Hellbillies writing new lyrics in Norwegian. Later efforts have included much more original material that reflect contemporary Norwegian people and Norwegian life and issues.
They have also collaborated with musicians from the US, such as Mr. Rob Hajacos from Nashville, who plays fiddle on most Garth Brooks albums, also plays the fiddle on three of The Hellbillies’ albums. He has also been to Norway twice in order to do live gigs and cut records together with The Hellbillies.

    DumDum Boys

DumDum Boys is a Norwegian rock band from Trondheim. They started up in the late 1970s as a punk band under the name "Wannskrækk", and released a few singles under that name before they reinvented themselves with a new name and a somewhat new sound in 1985.
The new name, "DumDum Boys", was taken from a song on the album "The Idiot" by Iggy Pop. Their debut album is called Blodig alvor (na na na na na).

    Raga Rockers

Raga Rockers is a Norwegian rock band from Oslo with Michael Krohn on vocals. The band was formed in 1982 by front man Michael Krohn. The other members were Livio Aiello on bass, Bruno Hovden on guitar, Jan Arne Kristiansen on drums, Tore Berg on guitar, Hugo Alvarstein on keyboards, and Nils Aune on guitar and keyboards. They recorded their first album in 1983, called The Return of the Raga Rockers. One year later they recorded their second album - Maskiner i Nirvana.
The band is one of the most successful Norwegian rock bands of all time. In 2007 they recorded their latest album, titled Übermensch.

Trivia: Pallantides is also Black Metal fan.

Guess what, the only Norwegian rock band I know is Turbonegro.

I could never listen to any Norwegian rock simply because Norway has a very rich and authentic metal scene which i doubt is the same with the rock scene (at least for the authentic part )...
