    Default 2nd-time X-Box 360 RROD

My 360 has just gone down (for the second time, no less) with the RROD. I sent it back to Microsoft 2 and a half years ago and they fixed it for free as it was within the 3-year time limit. Can I expect them to fix it free again, as it's the same problem as before, or will I likely be charged £80 for the same repair a second time around?

My PS3 is yet to break down i have had 3 xbox 360 consoles all break except my ELITE which still stays strong.

I would advise you upgrade to a newer model and chuck the other garbage out.

Alas, due to financial commitments and 2 kids, I can't afford to upgrade anything. If I can't get it fixed for zilcho, I think I'll bin the cursed thing and trade the games in for Napoleon TW.

Your post is so ridiculous it hurts me to think about it.

@ OP: If it's out of warranty there's no doubt you'd be charged.

This is really the best idea but also the PS3 can break time to time.

I say get some thermal paste dont get LUBE not very good for your game station .

Youtube is your best place follow each step carefully and your console should be back up on its Ass in no time.

PS3 breaks sometimes, I own a spring of 07 PS3 which is pretty old since they were hard to get up until that time. *laughs* PS3s from 06/07 are the most break down prone of the PS3s on the market. So saying, if he bought one of the newer models it would actually be a very good buy, the new remodel of the PS3 is far better in general, though I still personally find the old 60gb PS3 the best of the PS3s because it can just do so much more, but again owning one of them is a gamble, no where near as bad as owning a 360 but many of the oldest PS3s if not maintained well will break, not if they break but will, it just takes an old model PS3 far longer to break for similar reasons 360s get RROD. lol
