Rome Total War patch 1.5 problem .

I got a big problem , always when I want to start a new campaign , i press the pile to start then i go bag to : new game .

I HATE IT !!!

First of all welcome to the forum and I hope we can help you out (this thread should have been put into the technical help part of the forum and it may be moved there (with a redirect from this thread) by the time you see it again!

There is a couple of things that you can do:

1) add the -show_err switch to the shortcut target properties (how to do that is in this thread: http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=62217). If there is an error trapped by the code it will be shown when you exit the game.

2) delete the map.rwm files. If you don't want to delete it then just rename them to map.rwm.old. These files are created the first time you launch the game and can get corrupted. The file is created from other text files in your game folder. There can be a slight delay the first time you launch the game.
