Where are my saved games stored??

They can be found in the "saves" folder in the "medieval ii total war" folder. Depending which version you have it will be in one of two places:
Steam version: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\medieval ii total war
Disc version: C:\Program Files (x86)\Sega\medieval ii total war
(or somewhere near here- i've got the steam version so not 100% sure exactly where it is.
Hope that helps.
I'm guessing your not running XP since then the saves would be quite easy to find in the game folder as said above.
However with the annoying UAC atleast on Vista (not sure about win7) since programs can't edit the /Program Files/ directory a special directory is set up where these programs can save data.
The location should look something like this:
'C:\Users\*User Name*\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\SEGA\Medieval II Total War\saves'
Replace C with whatever harddrive you've instealled the game on possibly "C".*User Name* should be your own user name in windows. Then go AppData -> Local -> VirtualStore -> Program Files (x86) (if running 64bit like me other wise it should simply be named "Program Files". Here if you installed to the default folder that is /SEGA/Mideval II... it should be there, if you named it something else check there, and you should find it.
This "feature" was quite annoying at first I have to say before I found out about it.
