Cannot install TW Empire

Hello,

I just bought the game bundled with romeTW and alexander. Had no problem installing and playing those 2.

My rig:
- Vista SP2
- radon 4850
- core 2 E7200
- 2 gig of rams
- 320 MB DD
latest drivers, updates etc

The problem:
After i installed steam, and clicked the "install" button for Empire, a box appears saying the system is preparing installation files and then i get 2 error messages: (translated from french, pardon the engrish)

1) "the system administrator has set up the system policy to forbid this installation"

i then click ok and get a second error message:

2) "failed to run install script"

I've had my computer for close to 2 years, i've always been administrator and set up everything for minimal intrusion and monitoring from the system, and i've never had a problem to install any game. So i'm a bit at loss about what's happening.

ok

delete steam

if you bought a hard copy of etw you can insert the cd and let it install, it will automatically install steam

if not install steam again, download it from their site

install etw

Of course, i've been, since day one after installing vista, thas why the error message is so weird!

I would say ti's time for you to contact Steam and find out what's going on their end.
