Default A couple of siege problems

    Hey,

Bear in mind this is with 1.5c so it may not exist in 1.6, but when I go to take a settlement, I always get the advice telling me that siege equipment has been placed, ya da ya da ya da. I'm sure I have all advice turned off, and unlike some advice pop-ups, there's no selection to turn it off in future. Is that an RTW bug? I'll check next time I go in of course to make sure it isn't some advice I haven't turned off but just wondered.

Also, I had a problem with a siege on Carthago Novo yesterday, 3 towers and all 3 of them had the units do the dance at the base when they'd reached the walls instead of going up the towers. It is heavily defended so I need more than one breach point. I know there isn't much you can do about this, I actually withdrew losing the battle and then reloaded a save (it was the first thing I'd done so the save just went back to the city besieged). It's too heavily defend to trust an auto-resolve, so what's the chance that if I try again I'll get the same problem? Has anyone ever redone an attack after reloading an do you always get the same result?

my men becomes complete retards at the walls after relocating them and enemy siege units with towers lowers IQ about 150 all the time but at least its compensated

Ive encountered a bug were my legions did an Irish tap dance, probably just drunk
i think they fixed it on 1.6

the most annoying is the phalanx formation, i usually use the to block bottlenecks in the streets when outnumbered after a long battle you will notice them moving slowly on the right breaking their formation, in vanilla it would work well because enemies drop like flies in RS enemies are as hard as rocks to crack unless flanked. so always flank kiddies, a frontal assault will at last atleast an hour or so. im not complaining RS solder HP is too strong i think its balanced compare to SPQR were you expect 300 Spartans can hold a bridge battle against 1 million crap infantry i at least play 45-2 hrs in a battle in SPQR (no wonder i let the AI take over while i watch TV)

I once had a siege battle that lasted 7 hours. Lots of stuck lines, almost 25,000 troops (seriously it lagged like hell for 2 hours)

Since then I've just starved people out of large settlements. Maybe try the same? The worse that can happen is facing troops on an open field, but that would be better me thinks xD
    I like pie.
