    Default Map.rwm

Hello, I am trying to install BC 2.02, I just can not locate map.rvm file.

Locate the map.rwm file in Medieval II Total War/broken_crescent/data/world/maps/base and click "compatibility files", then delete the map.rwm

I use win7 - and when I enter "base" file, I can not see "compatibility files" tab to click.

    Thanks.

You cannt find map.rvm file at first installition becasue it will be created from game after first campaign play.

I have kinda an odd problem. I installed BC 2.02 and instead of having the typical problems people usually report like muslim units in the ERE, instead I have the wrong music sometimes playing when it shouldn't, such as music that Muslims factions normally have playing in the ERE campaign.

So I go to delete the files the BC 2.02 thread says to delete, but everytime I delete the map.rwm file and the two event files that are under the sound folder, the magically come back. I'll delete map.rwm, empty my recycle bin even, and then load up BC with all the problems still there. Then when I exit out and go back into my Computer files, map.rwm and the event files are there again. ???

Those files are there, because they recreate whenever you launch a new campaign. They need to be deleted every time you make some changes in some files, because they consist of information from the same but unmodified files.

If it comes to music - everything is all right with your BC, because 2.0 has got reduced tracks list, in comparison to 1.0. That's why you hear music which isn't appropriate for a culture profile - otherwise every culture would have few tracks and you would hear the same music all the time.

Oh so you're supposed to hear all of the music regardless of who you're playing as? That makes sense, I just figured there must be something wrong because I've played BC extensively on a different computer, and when I installed it on this one the music that was being played was different. On the previous computer, as the ERE I did hear the same few tracks over and over and over. This happened in 2.02 as well, but maybe that was because it wasn't a clean install or something; I'm feel like I didn't uninstall previous versions of BC first. idk.

Anyway, for BC 3.0 maybe you guys should change the whole thing where all the music plays regardless of who you're playing as. I got bored of the music after a while when there were only a few tracks per culture, but I think it's more annoying when something that really doesn't fit comes on. It takes me out of the experience a bit because it feels like the tracks are just plain random, like someones got their ipod on shuffle. Some just don't fit.
