I am thinking about a military carreer, and am currently a holder of both Russian and American citizenship, so I was wondering what anyone would know about the army joining laws of the two countries.
Can I, as a foreign citizen, join the army?

I don't see why you can't. If you are an American citizen, there is nothing stopping you from getting any job here (excpept the presidency, assuming you are foreign born.), as far as I know.
Heresy grows from idleness.
No cause for such alarm. There are many ways for you to die - I'm just one of them.

No.
But you shouldn't be able to keep your dual citizenships after you 18. I know I've heard of people doing this, but I still don't think it can happen, numerous lawyers and law enforcement officials have told me that dual citizenship ends at 18.
That being said, as long as you do in fact have American Citizenship then you can join the army. Just because you were once a Russian dosen't mean your not american.
You can join the US army if you have at least a greencard.

You can retain dual citizenship after 18 I believe.
You can join the US military, even as a foreign national, but there are limits on the jobs you can do. There also may be limitations on the actual country youre coming from, but I know for a fact there was a female in my A school who was originally from Russia.
