Question about Makuria
Hi, I recently reinstalled Broken Crescent 2.02 again to play some of my old campaigns and start a new one. In particular, I've been playing a campaign with the Kingdom of Makuria. I remember when I last played them, they had a specific tree of units to recruit from African descent. Now though, I see that those units are no longer recruitable, and have been replaced by Kabuli Axemen and Afghani Hillsmen, among other Middle Eastern Units.
Is this a bug or just a change in how Makuria works? I really enjoy immersing myself in my campaigns, and seeing some Afghani warriors fighting in the African heartland, as funny as it looks, removes me from said immersion. Any clarification would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
EDIT: Also, did they remove the blood splatter effects in BC? I remember them being there before, but now they are oddly absent from battles. Again, any and all help would be appreciated.

Re: Question about Makuria
Hmm, this is weird. Apparently these random units are spread among every faction that I start a game with now. I'm thinking this may be a side effect of 2.02 as this was not the case when I only had 2.0. Even in 2,0 though, I did not see blood shed like before. Very interesting...

Re: Question about Makuria
Games from BC 2.0 are not compatible with BC 2.02--just don't try. As for glitches in 2.02 games, try deleting the map.rwm. in M2TW/broken_crescentdata/campaigns/imperial_campaign/base.
