I found the case for 100 less just poking around, but as for why I'd want it.

Avarice, pure and simple.

I put together those components at newegg and the price came at 3363.92

The overprice was in the light of that system should be bought at no less than 4000 in any custom builder out there.

Newegg has the motherboard, RAM, CPU, and GPU's cheaper than that even including the bundle discount. For that price they should have a pair of GTX480's in that thing.

Well to be fair MM I think its just the parts they send you, you still need to put it together, so you might as well save the 300 bucks, not that it takes much to put it together once they are all picked out.

I actually have decided I am going to get this, but not until I finish redoing my basement. I'll probably tweek it a bit.

I wouldn't attribute it to custom PC building in general as they range from low-budget to high-budget. Even though this is obviously a huge payout, under any circumstances I would consider $300 quite a lot of money to save.
