patch (install)

I've got a question.
Why does the installer say that I haven't got the right patch.
I have patch 1.5 vanilla and 1.6 barbarian invasion.
Please help

That means that the patches are not correct.

Do you have the Gold version?

If so, the update 1.6 might not be a correct 1.6 and you'll have to install 1.6 again.

It doens't show the warning any more.
The installation is finished but how do you start the game and in which map do you have to install.

Ah in het Nederlands vooruit dan maar

Als je het bestand gedownload hebt en de installatie uitvoert, en het dus installeerd in de map Rome Total War wat het installatieprogramma automatisch al insteld, dan verschijnt er als het goed is een icoontje op je bureaublad. Met dat icoontje kan je het spel starten.

It's really weird.
The install was succesfull and no errors but i don't see any icon on my desktop

misschien stond "create desktop icon" niet aangeklikt...

Wel er kan mss een andere mogelijkheid zijn:

"C:\Program Files\The Creative Assembly\Rome - Total War\RomeTW-ALX.exe" -show_err -nm -mod:xgm

"C:\Program Files\The Creative Assembly\Rome - Total War"

Dat is mijn "Doel" respectievelijk "Beginnen In" van de snelkoppeling. Maak gewoon een snelkoppeling en plak dan deze daar. Maar dan wel met het goede pad.
