Default How do I know what I installed?

    I installed m2tw and kingdoms. Then I installed 6.0, 6.1, and 6.2.

Then on top of that someone told me to install the 6.0 to 6.2 all in one patch to get rid of the stupid army supply bs.

    Well it didn't.

So how do I know what other mods were installed that I don't want? I don't even know wtf rr/rc means but if if means i installed some damned mod that effs up my recruit or something then wtf maybe it should be made clear what these extra mods are doing to my install.

So what I need to know is what extra crap do I have now and how do I get rid of it without completely uninstalling m2tw and kingdoms?

    Pretty sure you missunderstood.
    Well it didn't.
    It wouldn't.

Army supply traits aren't that big of a deal everybody is making them into but if you want them removed follow Joris advice in the other topic. Else you're not having much of some damned mod that effs up your recruitment unless you installed the RR/RC compilation mod. Thats more then 1000mb download so if you didn't download that and installed that - you haven't got it.

If the only thing you installed on top of your 6.1 install is the 6.2 patch from here or the release topic then thats what you have.

You're the one who told me to do it. This is what you wrote.

"Removing army supply in 6.1 doesnt mean its gone when you patch to 6.2. If you are worried about the integrity use the all version installer on top of your current install but it won't change the trait system in place for 6.2."

I was asking how to remove the supply traits and you told me to add the 6.0 to 6.2 all in one patch on top of it. And that didn't remove the supply traits, there wasn't even an option. I have no idea what else it added along with the supply traits. And is just removing the traits enough? there has to be some other ai stuff that bneeds to be removed, surely if the player has to mess with the stupid supply traits the pc must also, right? So there has to be more then just removing the traits.

I don't get why there is the mod, and then when you install the mod it adds all these submods that I don't want, and then it's up to me to come here and ask how to do it and as a new user I'm told "edit this file find this vague thing and then find these vague triggers and blah blah" Why can't it just be a submod that I chose whether or not to include myself? I don't even know what I have installed now.

    It wouldn't.
Well then why did you suggest it?

I only installed what you told me to install. I know the file was big, I dont know if it was 1000mb big, but how would I even be able to tell? One thing is for sure, I know I dont want it if it's there, but had no choice and no list of what exactly was being installed.

If the only thing you installed on top of your 6.1 install is the 6.2 patch from here or the release topic then thats what you have.
Yes the 6.0+6.1+6.2+6.2 minipatch all in one file thing is what I installed on top of my 6.0 then 6.1 then 6.2 then minipatch original installation. That's what you said to install. So since you recomended it, do you know what extra submods aside from the supply junk it added? And how to remove them?

And finally, this makes no sense
To play, you need a clean SS 6.1 install (no byg or rr ticked during patch 6.1 patch install too, if you have a previous rc installed over clean 6.1 then its ok also).
This patch is not compatible with any submod right now.
The first sentence doesn't make any sense. None. The second sentence doesn't seem to make any sense either since isn't the army supply and whatever rr/rc means (what does that mean?) a submod? So it works with submods, but it doesn't work with submods. OK.

Sorry I'm sounding mad but this is the most frustrating time consuming mod I've ever installed. I just want to play the damn game without all this extra junk, or at least be given an option and a list of exactly what it is.

Was writing this as you wrote yours, so the 6.0 to 6.2 all in one patch you referred me to means I also need to install another small bugfixes patch on top of that too?

Well then its a missunderstanding. I was refering to the integrity of your install. That is, if you are worried that something is messed up due to patching you can fix it by using the "all version installer". I provided additional information stating that it won't solve your problem. Now idea why I did that because I'm to busy to backtrack now.
I don't get why there is the mod, and then when you install the mod it adds all these submods that I don't want,
I'd like to take a step back here... what all submods? As it is now you only mentioned the supply trait system. Are you experiencing problems recruiting heavy cavalry or any recruitment limitations?
Yes the 6.0+6.1+6.2+6.2 minipatch all in one file thing is what I installed on top of my 6.0 then 6.1 then 6.2 then minipatch original installation. That's what you said to install. I know that the 6.2 patch is your only way to upgrade to a higher version and that 6.2 is a base version for submods. So if you want 6.2 "light" it doesn't get much lighter then that without manual editing.
And finally, this makes no sense
RC stands for RELEASE CANDIDATE. Its a software developmet term like alpha and beta release. RC4 means release candidate 4.
Sorry I'm sounding mad but this is the most frustrating time consuming mod I've ever installed. I just want to play the damn game without all this extra junk, or at least be given an option and a list of exactly what it is.
I understand you but I can't remember 6.2 RC4 having any extra junk. And the supply trait system is a peace of cake as you can revover your troops easily and it takes 10 turns or more until you really suffer.
Only time I had problems was when I marched an army as England back from a crusade to Gaza.

    If you're refering to me:

All version installer does refer to the installer for 6.0 and 6.1 last in the list below.
Take care to install the small bug fixes if you haven't already.
