As I understand it, citizenship is meant to be a meritocracy based on ‘concrete’ contributions to the site, and it is here that I intend to state my merits.

First and foremost, let me begin with my stellar team. It is always a benefit to TWC when groups of skilled, devoted, and enthusiastic modders are brought together. It creates buzz among the users, and help shed much needed light on our TWC modding community as a whole. By founding The Great War Mod, I have brought together such a team, whose work -- in less than two months -- has created one of the most popular, and certainly one of the largest mods, for NTW to date.

Second, and perhaps most importantly, are my two mods themselves, The Great War and Total Combat. When the PFM first came out, my original mod -- Total Combat -- was among the first large scale mods to hit the released mods section. Total Combat was large scale and very popular, though it admittedly faded when I shifted my efforts to The Great War.

With The Great War Mod, although it has been my team that has truly made the effort a reality, my contributions have gone far beyond simply founding and overseeing it. I have rebuilt the CAI files, I have reconstructed the battle gameplay mechanics, I have restructured and rebalanced the campaign economic model to fit WWI, and I have rebuilt technology model. In short, I have refaced almost every facet of vanilla NTW to recreate a WWI experience as best as NTW can. To achieve all of this, numerous files had to be entirely rebalanced, and where rebalancing wasn’t enough, such as with the CAI, the files had to be entirely rebuilt.

Third, and on a minor note, I have written my share of tutorials. Each of the several pages on the tutorials forum has multiple entries bearing my name. Several of my tutorials have been included in the Scriptorum through the good graces of Brigadier Graham. As Brigadier himself said ‘Tutorials represent a concrete contribution to the site.’

In closing, if ‘concrete contributions’ to the site are what qualify one for Artifex, I am confident that I qualify.

I am not someone who patronises often infact this is my first time patronising someone so what is it that has made this member stand out from the pack. In my mindthe answer is a simple one. This is a member who has impressed me with his attitude in the fledgling NTW modding section.His assistance in that section with the various tutorials that he has created for the communtiy as a whole to use. This helpful attitude plus his creation of what looks like will be one of the more popular mods in NTW are what makes him good citizen material in my mind. I thank the CDEC for their time in looking over this application.

He's a modder and team leader for one mod, what appears to be sole modder for another, both released. The modding work is solid and strong, and he's also written tutorials for the Script as well. A clear yes from me

It doesn't help that that nonsensical Opt-In bill doesn't give any advice on what to do if a citizen doesn't reply to the question: "do you want this kept public or private?" So now the bloody things are just stuck in Limbo within this subforum. I smell a proposal coming on from me if someone doesn't get there first!

It seems normal to me that it will be moved to the hidden forum until they ask to make it public (after they received the PM) even after 3 months they are still able to request that this thread would be made public. No?
