Sure you can - just not directly and only the map part. It requires some modding there as well: keep in mind that RTW does not have religion entries in descr_regions. Otherwise you should be able to use the world folder files, descr_strat will need adjustment as well.

Simply install into the default directory if you have M2TW installed, else to the desktop. Then transfer\edit the required files for RTW.

Hi Gigantus, thank you for these amazing maps!

My only question is how to run these mods with the Definitive Edition? When I click on the icon to run the mod (in order to be able to mod it with Geomod) it says that kingdoms.exe doesn't exist. I suppose it is because I have DE... What could be the solution?

    Thanks a lot!

Meanwhile I've figured it out. I had to change kingdoms.exe the Executable file to medieval2.exe, and it works now! (I've put it here in case anyone else had the same issue...)

The maps are from before the merger of the two executable files on Steam - I have since then published this tutorial on how to solve this for all mods that give the 'kingdoms.exe is missing' error message.

    Hello

I just added a new region on the europe map. It is ok, i launch the game and found my region. But when i try to add another one geomod tell me "You must add the new regions ones by ones!"

I can't see what is wrong with it

Usually happens if you create a region and don't validate it before starting a new one.

    OK thanks.

I started again and it works. I think sometimes i go too fast and select a wrong region, edit it while thinking it is another and not validate it.

Thank you for the maps it saves time.

Have you thought about doing a South America map? Or maybe one that covers all of the Americas?

The proportions of south america, let alone both americas will lead to a very small map and loose a lot of detail. Imagine the Japan map rotated and filled with the whole continent and you get the picture.

    Hello Gigantus,

I would like to ask you if you have information on the historical geography of India. I asked this question before in the History subforum: https://www.twcenter.net/forums/show...mediveal-India

I am looking for information from the 9th century, as I am interested in the tripartite struggle over Kanauj between Gurjara-Pratihara, Pala and Rashtrakuta factions for my mod:
    https://www.twcenter.net/forums/show...id-9th-century .

I would much appreciate your insights.

    Best regards

I am afraid I cannot help you much in that regard, I made the map without having any particular period in mind that I may be using it for, although I had a vague idea about the beginning of the mughal period.
