Haha nice work!! I downloaded the North American one and am currently working away at editing features into the map, but I noticed it could use a bit more Canada I was wondering if this would be easy enough to do, as I assume I'm just adding more map to the top, and I don't have settlements or anything set up yet.

As long as the map dimensions haven't reached 510 in either direction you can add to the map.
    Have fun!

Oh, ok, sweet, but now I have another question lol. I added a region, added HRE, gave the region to the HRE, and now my campaigns won't start, no matter what faction I picked. Is there more to putting in the other factions, then just what you can do with Geomod haha

Have you deleted the map.rwm file?

I'm gunna say no, but its not there anyways? Odd, I definitely don't remember deleting it. And if it helps, its doing the thing where when you click start campaign, it takes you back to the single player menu. Thanks for the help bro..oh, should I just edit my old posts instead of making new ones? lol

Any map changes you make, delete it so the gme can make a new one with your changes.

What does the log show? What did you change in the descr_strat.txt?

I don't have one to delete :/ I'm not getting a log either, and I didn't manually change anything in descr_stat.txt, only what geomod threw in, which is a section for HRE, under France. And geomod's debugger isn't picking up anything wrong...gawd damn it lol

Hahah, alrite man, thanks for your help! Oh, something I noticed, it might be the HRE, because I accidentally clicked quick battle, and I was the HRE, but a bunch of words were glitching out, and had what looked like code(like the Start button at the begging of battles, and the word pause when I paused, were what looked like a line of code? and when I hovered my mouse over unit cards, instead of saying eager, etc. it had well, nonsense lol )

It could very well be. Before you started modding, could you start a campaign and fight a custom battle?

Your log will be in the \logs sub folder (medieval II total war\logs). Compress it and attach here.

It could be that the map isn't stable enough. Try adding some more regions - after all it is very basic.

I will try to use only map_height and ground_types, and make the others, are there any possible problems in the map_heights?

I made sure there is no 0,0,0 RGB value - that would be generated as water and can cause problems if settlements are placed on it. So you should be fine.

Sounds good to me. Once I get to my own machine I will test the installation as well.

ok, this is the working map http://www.megaupload.com/?d=DPK9R4HR

it is only basic, but now don't crash.

The principal problem now is that the costs of greece and turkey are attached
