Tempting, but it lacks features like rivers and water bodies, maybe after some terra forming?

Scientists do say it did have water at one time. It has enough ravines and gullies for rivers and some good sized craters for lakes and seas. Alittle terraforming to connect the dots is okay. It is our world as we seeit.

A map of the whole world will lack a lot of details - not worth it.

Are these finished maps or intended to be used as base maps?

Evil is bad sold as good, wrong sold as right, injustice sold as justice. Like the coat of a virus, a thin veil of right can disguise enormous wrong and confer an ability to infect others."

These are base maps -plain climate and ground type. A few random regions to stabilize the map. Detailed features.
Build on "Bare Geomod" to provide a working kingdoms mod folder and the necessary files to use the Geomod tool.

I'd like to signal some minor defects on the Europe map. The white dots that should represent the spring of the Rhone river, in France, on the map_features.tga are not there. So a whole big river is missing. There is also another dot missing for one of the affluents of the Garonne river, also in France.

Thanks for pointing that out. I will see that I get the time to check that and attach a new version.

Edit: corrected and new version attached (after 228 downloads)

WOW! This is really fantastic. I like the North American version a lot, it'll allow me to make my new Americas mod. :
Very funny and old tale of Mordor. The grass is always greener.
Epic Tale of Thera, simply a masterpiece . Borissomeone's Tales of Thera.

    Hi Gigantus.
Would you consider having a go at making this map?

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

I am planning on making a mod based on the Danish Civil War (1131-1157) where three Danish kings wrestled for power in Denmark, watched closely by the Holy Roman Empire who could have interfered and grabbed the chance of invading if things had gone differently.

The war was fought on three sides (all vs all) and this is how it looked (roughly):
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

    King Svend
    King Knud
    King Valdemar
    (the historical winner)

Anyway, I thought it could be cool to try and make this mod. I would probably add Sweden, Norway and the Holy Roman Empire as well, perhaps with some other factions too.

Looking at your other maps, I thought you would be just the man to put the map together.
"I have learned how to be a man.
And so I shall become the King of Men."

Give it a spin yourself, I am sure you can do it. These are all examples created by using this tutorial of mine: Creating a World – Working with the Demis online Mapper

Be careful not to add too many rivers, that can lead to crashes.
