Windows 7?

I just downloaded ETW, and it has worked with no crashing, but it seems to be a bit laggy. Now I can play NTW, on fairly high settings (ie; Large Units, High details), but on ETW there seems to be a bit more lag. I was just wondering whether Windows 7 is the cause, because I've heard alot of people have complained about it. Also is there or will there be a patch, I know its been a year, but I'm just wondering.

I doubt it is due to win7, more likely just the way ETW is coded. Also future patches on ETW are pretty unlikely too.

NO trouble here with Win7, best Windows I`ve ever had so far.

I also have no problems with 7. The campaign map lags if I scroll rapidly, but that seems to be a coding issue. I'm also running a crazy resolution because of Eyefinity, so I'm not really that surprised.
