I like this myself.
I'm not a fan of emergent factions because they take up slots better served.
I like my mods to be historically accurate at the start, not at the end.
FREE THE NIPPLE!!!
I dont think its a problem having them as rebels as long as they do anything![]()
Emergent factions have never been accurate in any vanilla campaign lol. Glad they're rebels this time.
Portugal and the Kingdom of Jerusalem were going to be emergent but in practice it would probably have sucked. Also the player cannot play as an emergent faction and that would have been a shame. The only downside to this decision is that we are going to slightly alter history and have Portugal as a political entity in 1080 whereas in real-life Portugal didn't emerge for a few years later. I don't think this is much of a sacrifice though compared to it being emergent and un-playable and probably not all that great.
Cant you just make Portugal as a vassal to Leon-Castille otherwise? If i dont remember wrong (wich i probably do) Leon-Castille owned that region right?
Okay good to hear. I have a feeling this mod will be very very special.....
