Problem with InstallationValidation

It says: You don't have an original installation; There are changes to files, or some are missing.
However, these may be conscious changes you have made, to remod EB. See below for details.


I only installed the 1.1, then 1.2 and fixes for 1.2, nothing else. I do have BI installed, does it affect the validation?

And I only could download the checklist for plain 1.2 install.

Yes, everything apart from a 'normal' RTW 1.5 + fixed EB 1.2 is noted by the validation as 'change' or 'added'.
However, if your game works, there is no need to bother with the validation tool, is it only needed if the game doesn't work or goes mad after changing files.

I reinstalled RTW without BI and then EB, but the validation still says that I haven't got the original version.

Does changing the sea graphics affect it?

Yes, that is also a change.
Honestly, I don't understand you problem for the moment. Is EB malfunctional? Do you receive problems/crashes?
