EB Scares me!

Hey guys,


Long time fan of TW games here, played all of them up to Empire (though Empire was terrible imo) and i have come full circle back to RomeTW as it is my favourite, though i have never tried any mods for Rome before and thought EB would be a good one to pop my cherry .. so to speak.


However after browsing the EB topics here i notice a pattern of people experiencing lots of problems with the Mod and even though my EB download is nearing completion i am afraid to install it because i really don't want a headache, just looking for something thats different and works.


So my question is, should i expect many problems with a clean RomeTW 1.6 installation (no mini-mods or anything) and a healthy system ? or is EB just too much hassle and frustration, afterall i don't want to spend my time troubleshooting, i would rather play something less grand and have stable gameplay if that is the case.

I can say to you, that i haven't gotten a real CTD in over a year, and i play EB regularly, and i have a lot of mods installed, and i'm not even sure i have a clean installation.

The way i see it, the most problems come, if you mess with the files, or you don't install the game correctly (which is basically very easy)

So go ahead and try it. You won't be sorry
