    Default Possible to change Elephant to Creature?

    Yeah it is? or is a hardcoded thing? Because wouldn't it make sense for the units such as Ents, Mumakil etc. To be classed as creature? rather than Elephant?

    Again i have really no idea if it's hardcoded

    Afaik you can't create new unit types.

    I think he just wants the tool tip to say creature instead of elephant, just a name change. I don't know if it's possible.

    yeah axnsan is right - it doesn't really matter that these units are elephant based since it is no where mentioned that it actually is an elephant.

    I'd know where to change it if I knew what you were talking about. Right now the only thing I can think of is the "Heavy Cavalry" in the unit type. You can change that, but not without having swan knights become real swans

    Translated it means real cavalry will also become "creatures"

    EDIT:... orr...
    You can make all regular cavalry "light" and change the text to say Heavy. Though there won't be any light cavalry then. And the AI may use them wrong.

    And then you can change heavy cavalry to elephant without problems

    The tooltip when you mouse over a unit it says it's unit type i.e heavy infantry. Now im not saying make Ents into Heavy infantry, But ents and Mumakil are classed as Elephants in the games logic. So im wondering if it's possible to find the original source for the tooltip and change the wording to Creature

    I always thought they were classed as Heavy Calvalry?!?

    Elephants = heavy cavalry.
    Change "heavy cavalry" into creatures, and you get
    Rohan Royal guard, swan knights and Elven mounted nobles = creature
