    Hello, i have a problem with this tool.
    When I play the game in Campaign - Europe - All playable option and I choose the ottomans, I can not recruit merchant fleets.
    What can I do to solve this?

    Welcome to TWC, Richiv!

    First, Napoleon Total Factions is not a tool, it is a mod. Do you have all DLC or do you have the Napoleon TW - Definitive Edition?

    From what I understand you can only recruit a merchant ship in a trader port, not a naval port. Is there a trader port present on the campaign map, check your sea ports to see what kind of ships you can recruit?

    Thanks Leonardo and sorry for the mistake, my English is pretty bad.
    I have the Napoleon TW- Definitive Edition. And yes, there is a trader port in the region of greece. When I select it, it only gives me the option to improve it. It does not give me the option to recruit a fleet. And when I continue playing and I conquer other regions, the same thing happens with the trader ports.
    However, with the naval port, I can recruit all kinds of boats except merchants.

    If I improve the trader port nothing happens. I still can not recruit merchant ship. And the same thing happens if I choose the venice instead of the ottomans. I think it's a mistake of the mod.

    I don't know if I can help you, but I think some of the other NTW modders can help you.

    Anyway, as long husserlTW doesn't return to modding then I think nobody can tell you what is going on at least I can't.

    Hi Richiv. It happens that i was searching old drives and found this little mod that gives navies to Papal States, Venice and Ottomans merchant fleets. It does not need activation, just drop in the data folder.

    I doubt that will happen since HusserlTW, the author behind ETF, has retired from modding.

    If you're asking for an updated NTF then I hate to disappoint you, because NTF won't be updated unless HusserlTW come to back to modding from his retirement as a modder over 5 years ago.

    On the first page it says to install an update_361, it's like a crack

    First uninstall any previous version of NTF. Then decompress NTF361.7z and run NTF_setup.exe following the installer's instructions. Make sure you install mod in your game's directory (...\napoleon total war\) browsing in another installation path than default, if necessary. The mod uses its own mod folder and do not overwrite any of vanilla files. ""After mod installation proceed in installing the update.""

    And: UPDATE: Download attached and extract it in ...\napoleon total war\NTF replacing existing files.

    Oh, that and your last sentence is exactly how to install the update.

    I also know that after installing the update the game will have a harmless message about not finding vanilla files or similiar and it is safe to ignore that message just click "OK" to launch NTF.

    Today, I discovered that there is no enhanced gameplay (a mission for liberating Porto to the Portugese) in the Peninsula campaign, I mean when I defeat the French in a Spanish city I don't have the Liberate Region option anymore.

    In fact, the entire gameplay is more or less broken e.g no missions, liberation of Spanish cities. And using NTF in the Peninsula campaign makes it needless IMO.

    I dunno why and I wonder if I am the only one who have notice it. Besides, what is the point of researching guerilla technologies when the player cannot liberate French occupied cities.


    Also, I find no information about disabling the liberating Spanish cities option in-game in the changelog, except this.

    What other changes does the 3.6.1 version do?

    Hello, does anyone know a mod on how to recruit more elite units ??, Example: Republican Guards, Foot Guards, Republican Guards, Moscow Musketeers ??

    Yes. There is and that's Napoleon Total Combat (NTC), which is also fully compatible with NTF. I use both NTF (except for the Peninsula campaign) and NTC.

    There is also AUM to use, if one wants to have more units available.
