I agree with ModHunter its the last thing this mod misses to be beyond perfect!![]()
Yes I agree about victory conditions. Would be better if minors had more historically adequate regions to control as victory condition. And also not 25+ regions. Its a bit boring to conquer half of map with 5 types of units, would be better if small states had to control 10-15 to win.

Anyhow I think that would be a heavy historical research for husserlTW to do alone for every faction out there![]()
Not really, Spain/Portugal would probalbly need to get a grip back on the Medditeranean and restore the Bourbons in France, German states require unification, Skandinavian nations need to get a grip on the Baltic rings, Italians need to unify Italy and the Ottomans need to advance north into Austria and the Ukraine. The Poles would need to rebuild the Commonwealth and extend it. The Scots and Irish need to unite Britannia then perhaps get a grip on northern Europe. That pretty much sums up each faction's objectives.

I am preparing the new major update for NTF with an important alpaca's contribution. It will include an internal UI which I take advantage to add multiplayer versions of all campaigns. I'll change the VC. Mission's will need month of work and I am not sure if it is going to be functional. But it is amazing how people keep asking for the things they do not have. The first months I received posts saying that they loved playing the mod because it does not contain all these annoying missions. More over many players asked for France in a modded Grand Campaign. Now you've missed... the missio9ns and you want them back... Human soul is a big mystery indeed!

husserlTW thank you for your work. Please dont forget about Hannover this time, it would be morally satisfying to have really ALL factions present.
And please if you are up to change Victory conditions for every nations dont force dwarfs to take 20 regions, would look ridiculous to see Crimean Khanate or Greece spread all over eastern europe. Besides as I mentioned above because of their limited unit rosters its pretty boring thing.
And yes, if someone wants missions he can play vanilla...
And one question, is it possible to make custom factions to appear in custom battles?

UPDATE: NTF has been updated in version 3.0. Many major improovements and mp campaigns addition.

husserlTW sorry to bring bad news, after your update mod doesnt work properly. I found a mistake it seems.
When starting european SP campaign as Bavaria after clicking on "end turn" game freezes. Its not that usual turn "lag" since animations of flag works smooth but even after 15 minutes of waiting nothing happens. Game is "frozen" on french turn.
When I tried Saxony turns seem to work fine.
Please check that problem. Dont know if its only Bavaria or there are more cases like that...
EDIT Baden-Wuerttemberg - same crap as with Bavaria *sigh*

If you have the time, can you point me in the right direction? I'm trying to locate the correct startpos.esf file that controls the PORTUGAL game in NTF. I found where they are (in data/campaigns/NTF, I think), but there's at least 15 separate filesand I figured you must keep an index/directory that you might post, maybe for all of them in addition to just Portugal's file. In any case, thanks fo your time and any assistance!

Thank you husserlTW the glitch with frozen turn is gone it seems (I tested in on bavaria only though didnt have much time)
I noticed minor bug though, its not gameplay ruining but better check . When you start SP campaign as Bavaria and try to develop economy you often see two variations of same building avaliable for construction. Normal one and "cheaper" taht cant be upgraded afterwards!
I am not sure AI will be able to handle it right, please check I hope you understood what I mean.
Building say manufactory or gunsmith. Or changing secret society to colledge. You'll see what I mean.

Having trouble playing this in MP. We both made sure a hundred times over to install the same way but we still get incompatible version.
We tried without mod; No problems.
With different mod; No problems.
Any ideas? We where only trying MP all factions, not emergent.
EDIT: You know what something went REALLY wrong during install, because my friend had issues with the mod still being semiactivated with it removed. Then we had him remove some files that could have been touched and have steam reinstall them... still having issues connecting now. SO for now I think it has NOTHING to do with the mod.

cant get this to work, it starts up and i save mod "NTF.pack"; to the user.script, i close that and it says some files get copied and then it hangs at the splash screen
i downloaded a fix but i dont understand what im supposed to do with it, its just a bunch of numbered exes that do nothing when i open them
ok, i opened 14 and it did not seem to do anything, but i tryed to start the game it worked! woot!
are these factions complete? as in do they have as many units as the normal factions do?
As Hannover, why won't any generals spawn?
