I had the same thing, you should go to your user.script file, I've got vista and I go to search, appdata, programs: appdata, roaming, the creative assembly, napoleon total war and then delete the lines with mods you're not using, ex mod "ntf.pack";

Yes, as the only campaign I tried was as Northern Italy. The V.C. for them are all over the map, and just not realistic at all. I would see the conditions being to take all of Italy, Rome, Naples, Sicily, Sardina, Venice, and Torino. Then add in some other regions like Tyrol, Croatia, Greece, maybe Corsica. Then the standard take X other regions to reach 25+.
As an easy example, I would see all the Italian states like that and then the German states to unify Germany etc. Most of your minor powers fall into one of those two general "states" so it would fall to be fairly historically accurate/logical.
Thanks for the reply!
Ahem Husser, you didn't seem to reply to my post.

The problem is that I do not meet this problem so I cannot search for a solution... Can you try what I suggest in my previous answer to Jac_PS?
If you tried vanilla without my mod running then the problem is not with mod. Now, why this happened after you installed my mod? That is good question!

Hai husserlTW!
I managed to get a legal copy of the game wooohoO!
Anyways to the point, might be just me but I'm experiencing no loading of Toon's compilation pack after installing NTF_SP_A1 and only adding mod "NTF.pack"; line in my script. I also downloaded his mod to make sure everythig was alright.
Instead to make it work I had to add mod Toons_Battle_AI.pack; command line into my script so I'm guessing the NTF_SP_A1 isn't doing its job? Or did I miss something?
HusserlTW, I tried what you sugested and started a vanilla game through the Napoleon.exe, and get no sounds either, even disabling the mod in the user.script, but if i unnistall the mod, the sound comes back. Again, it's only with the vanilla campaign, the other factions plays with sounds.
Thanks for mod and help but i have mucked it up lol i downloaded it and when i went to play it went on europe campaign single player and then when i was in-game under single-player it just renamed it campaigns of coalition and no new tab etc, clicked on it and it was campaigns of coalition, what should i do? u know?
Did this, did not work.2.
Problem: The game starts normally but nothing has changed, it is like the mod is not there.
Reason: The game does not load the NTF.pack
Solution: a) Open user.scrip.txt and make it in Unicode format. b) Make NTF.pack a "movie" type. To do that:
Open [NTW]\data\NTF\NTF.pack with PFM. Click on Choose a Pack Action and mark movie. Save as NTF.pack in your desktop. Then take it and copy back in [NTW]\data\NTF\ replacing the older NTF.pack. Try again. Now it does not matter if you edit user script, since the NTF.pack file is a "movie" type, the game will be forced to load it eitherway.
solution a.) i dont know how to set to unicode, can only change format to 'word wrap' or change "font.."
solution b.) did all that, still does not load
anyone know what I can do?
Hey I've installed this mod and everything works fine, I can see all the main interfaces, I click European Grand Campaign, (emergent or all playable) either one, and then when I load the game the loading screen is the NTF screen, which is good, and all the interfaces look like they should, but right when I click Napoleon Total Faction Campaign (replaces Coalition Campaign) it still only shows the four main playable factions.
Any idea?
Please, can anyone help?
I really want to play N:TW once again, but I just cannot get into the huge factions. and I dont want to revert back to empire because the physics and everything is so much more enjoyable in N:TW.
I really want to play as a smaller faction but the NTF mod simply does not work, as i mentioned above i went through and changed the .pack to 'movie', but it still does not load the mod.
any help would be greatly appreciated!![]()
This might seem like a silly question if you already did it, but have you actually created a proper user.script.txt file, and placed it in your NTW-script-folder? Without that, the mod will NEVER work.
If you haven't, follow the instructions that husserlTW has written and mentioned ad-infinitum, or just use Mod-manager to create and enable it, as madrush suggested...
I came, I saw, I wrote a guide✍
any reason why this mod stops responding after i add the line "NTF.pack" and it copies the lines? it just freezes on NTF splash screen forever. im on vista. let me know if you know whats up. thanks

Hi Husser, this is probalbly a bug, but your "Napoleon: Total Factions" logo doesn't dissappear when I stop playing the mod and your loading screen doesn't either. Can you remove or fix these?
