Default Unspecified error before it even loads.

I double click the third age icon, get the splash screen, then "unspecified error."

Happened with RR_RC and with normal, patched up to 1.41.

    Log follows:

    04:06:11.265 [system.rpt] [always] CPU: SSE2
04:06:11.265 [system.rpt] [always] ==== system log start, build date: Feb 25 2008 version development ===

    help?

Default Re: Unspecified error before it even loads.

Seems like your descr_engine_skeleton is corrupt. Try to replace it with the attached one. You have to replace the one in Third_Age/data folder.

    Default

Replaced the file in third age/data, restarted the game, exact same error, exact same log. even cleared the log and tried again to make sure-- the log is the exact same. What would cause something like that? I'm sure yours is working, isn't it?

huh. reinstalled and no error. odd. oh well. now RR_RC doesn't work, but I can get around that.
