Default Short campaign finished....anyway to change it to long?

I finally completed my short campaign (whoopie) but now i was wondering if i can take my current progress into a world domination or long campaign without completely restarting?

On that note, does beating the short campaign unlock anything new anywhere?

    Cheers,

    ~H.

No don't think so. You can keep playing offcours, but it's not counted as a long campaign victory if you reach 1799.

Only thing it unlocks is probably the achievement in Steam

Just play a Long Campaign next time.

Oh and I disconnect from Steam every time I play ETW (DMUC) because I have no interest in empty pretend achievements. Playing the game enjoying it and doing well is enough of an achievement for me.
