    Default Supplying your army

    As per the mod notes, we have to "supply" our troops via bringing them into a friendly or just concurred city or bringing them onto a boat. Which brings me to this thought, is it possible to supply and boost moral of generals/troops when they're in a fort? And when you have your generals/troops out "in the field" for long periods of time what exactly happens to them? Thanks for any answers in advance.

    Resupplying in forts is possible, I think there are differences in terms of effectivness between the supply system versions. Remember that you also always have foraging.
    Troops that are a long time in the field suffer morale and movement point reductions and I believe the chance for the general to fall ill is increased as well.

    As a new user to Stainless Steel using the 6.2 patch, does anyone have any instructions on how to disable the Army Supply part of it?

    Go to export_descr_character_traits.txt and search for 'supplies'. Then remove the trait, and search for any triggers and delete them as well. NOT save-game compatible.

    I'm like totally new, what do you mean by "triggers", and are they all in that one file?

    I just made a backup of that file and opened it up, I have no idea what I'm supposed to do there. I can see there's a section with traits and a section with triggers but I have no clue which ones to delete.

    Search (Ctrl + F) for the trait Supplies. Below it is a trait SuppliesAdded. Remove both. Then, press Ctrl + F again and remove any trigger that adds, removes, or even mentiones Supplies or SuppliesAdded.

    There is a LOT of stuff in that file that mentions supply or supplies. Are you sure I have to delete ALL of it?

    Here are the ones I see. Some of this doesn't even look like it has anything to do with the army supply stuff. And then there's other things that don't specifically mention supplies that looks like it is also part of the supply system that should also be deleted.

    I don't feel like doing this and then starting a campaign only to CTD every turn. Hopefully someone knows how to remove this stuff. I installed SS Tuesday or Wednesday and I haven't even been able to play the goddam thing yet because no one really seems to know what's going on with this supply business. I just want it gone.

    All text blocks between ----- lines that include the words Supplies and SuppliesAdded have to be removed.
    No supply trait, no basement for the house, roof falls down and kills supply system.
    Hopefully someone knows how to remove this stuff.
    Looks to me like JorisofHolland does.
    I don't feel like doing this and then starting a campaign only to CTD every turn.
    No worries if you screw this up your campaign most likely won't go beyond turn 1.

    .. i thought they removed the mod in 6.2, wasnt that in the release notes??
