Getting rid of forts
I hate fort battles due to path finding and related bugs, so I wanted to get rid of them entirely.
I tried doing that with DBEditor, by creating another building_effects_junction_tables, which overrides
improved_settlement_fortifications's large_city_fortifications effect from 1 to 0; and likewise settlement_fortifications's small_city_fortifications from 1 to 0.
It had no effect. (for testing that everything is even loaded, I also overrode some gdp bonuses and they work fine).
Is there any other way to get rid of forts' effects?
And is it even possible to delete rows from tables using a mod file? From DBEditor interface it seems only overriding is supported, not outright row deletions.
Another idea would be manually removing all fortifications by editing startpos.esf, and making building them impossible and/or way too expensive, but startpos.esf editing seems like a lot more work (I wish ETW used RTW/M2TW's straightforward modding system).
