I'm quite worried. We Brits are not the best of friends with the Argies for obvious reasons, but now we've found 17 billion pounds worth of oil is sure to upset them. What was pretty much a windswept naval base that held very little commericial value, could now be the cause of re-newed hostilities. Falklands war 2 maybe?

We drink coffee? If the Argentinians hope to cause any damage to the British public they'd need to intercept our tea supplies.

Phone the Americans, tell them we're really sorry but we have to leave the Helmand party early!

We've got 500 soldiers and 4 fighters on the islands, plus a Rapid Reaction Force ready to be assembled and shipped out if the Islands are seen to be under threat. If an Argentine soldier even farts at the Falklands we'll have it covered in DPM Green post haste.

Frankly, If the argies try anything again, then we can probably sink whatever is coming our way with the ship we have stationed there, a sub stationed there, coastal defences and the 4 Eurofighters.

If by some miracle they do get some poor chaps on the islands, then the 500 Royal Marines there would cream them in about 40 minutes, in time for lunch.
