Anyone try multiple M2TW installs on same computer?

I am getting the kingdoms expansion and would like to keep

• one install, uncluttered with mods
• another install with SS 6.1
• another install with SS 6.2 RR/RC
• another install with SS 6.2 RR/RC with BGR
• another install with broken cresents mod only.
• another install with the tolkein mod..

As long as the saved games don't all get confused with each other, I think it can be done..Anyone else try it? Anything I should be aware of?

That you can have one install with

another install with SS 6.1
another install with SS 6.2 RR/RC
another install with SS 6.2 RR/RC with BGR

at the same time for a start. All it takes is a bit renaming and changing of/in stainless steel kingdom.cfg and stainless steel 6.bat and the ss6 folder.
I'd think the tolkein mod (guess thats third age?) would qualify for the same install mod folder as well.

Don't SS, Third Age, and BC go into their own folders under mods? Doesn't that leave the base MTWII game unaltered? I remember having BC and SS at the same time and both ran fine...

I remember reading that there was a minor problem some time ago with BC so I couldn't vouch for that. I've had it running fine alongside SS6.1 as well.

All mods have their own folder, including save folders. I know because I have about 5 mods at the same computer - SS with RR/RC, BC, KGCM, DLV and other minor ones.
So don't worry about saves, they don't mess up
