Congratulations to all team members RS2 and all fans of the Victory Day!

PS Yesterday, on the dusty back window of cars saw an inscription - Thanks grandfather for the victory. (In Russian -ÑÏÀÑÈÁÎ ÄÅÄÓ ÇÀ ÏÎÁÅÄÓ). I was touched.

I keep forgetting you Russians are doing it the 9th.
In western Europe, it's the 8th.

May the brave men and women that fought and died on both sides rest in peace.

Bearskins and the red coats are what make them look awesome.

Yes, is the result of different time zones. When Nazi surrender was signed in Europe was evening of May 8 and in Moscow for an hour the night May 9 :-)

HEY! thanks! It is today! It was military parade in Red Square at 10.00 (Moscow time)! Most exiting parade of all times! Even some soldiers from England, Poland and USA was there! And almost all countries of former USSR! =) It was great! Belorussian, Ukrainian, Armenian soldiers! Glorious past, but so blooded, so painful for our grandfathers.

Hehehehe! They are good! =)) But it's so new and not ordinary to see Welsh Guard in Red Square!
In a fact, I was waiting for appearance of our west European and American guests! It was very first time in our history, and this is a good thing, that, maybe it's a step to cooperate and to understand each other.

Mmm, the election was a disaster and our political system is messed up. It's about time we had reform.

We dont want proportional representation though. Absolute Monarchy is the way to go or at least a different system for choosing who gets to vote, just because you reach a certain age shouldnt mean you automatically have the right to vote-you should have to take an IQ test or sumthin first.

Implementing such a rule would cause the right wing in any country to have tremendous loses, not gonna happen.

Here in italy no celebrations of any sort.. after all, it is not our victory
We have 25th of April to celebrate liberation from nazi fascism. But it is no more a big importance day..

    Memory is fading away..

You mean Officers. Not heroes. They may well be "heroes", but still, the word you're looking for is officers (i.e. field marshalls, generals and the like).
