Question about 6.2 install

I'm a little confused on the installation of SS 6.2. Currently I have 6.0 installed. According this this topic: http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=302184, the download will patch my 6.0 version to the current version.

Full 6.0->6.2 installer (6.1+6.2+6.2mini-patch)

But the install notes say that you must have 6.1 installed. So which is it?

Installation:

To play, you need a clean SS 6.1 install (no byg or rr ticked during patch 6.1 patch install too, if you have a previous rc installed over clean 6.1 then its ok also).
This patch is not compatible with any submod right now.
To install, point the installer at the Medieval 2 folder, not the Stainless_Steel_6 one.

Once upon a time there was one way to install 6.2 RC 4 and that needed an unpatched 6.1. Then I made versions that could patch every single version in existence.
As you are not having 6.1 installed, any information concerning 6.1 doesnt apply. Just patch it up with the full 6.0 -> 6.2 or patch it to 6.1 like the info says and then to 6.2 RC4. Seriously.

To clarify. The readme states that you need 6.1 installed. The info next to the Full 6.0->6.2 installer is
(6.1+6.2+6.2mini-patch) - which means the installer installs 6.1, the prerequisite for 6.2, then 6.2, then the minipatch. Only he does that in one go.
