    Default Scripts in FOE

I fell in love with this mod when I saw the preview and gameplay from PoM on youtube. Even subscribed to the FOE channel to know when it was coming out.

But due to my crappy PC I wasn't able to play it. Now that's I've got a decent one I've got one question before going on campaign.

I hate going through scripted stuff... love to make my own destiny (or create my own "Fate Of (my) Empire/s"). Is there a way of avoiding the scripted battles? I'm gonna try it anyway, but I'm sure I'd play a whole campaign if there would be a way of taking away the scripted battles.

I tried seeing if someone had done a similar topic but I didn't find one, and I'd thank any help here

Cheers! I must say that the game looks great in videos

It's only two scripted battles to set things off at the start. After that things run freely

It's also entirely possible to just press Auto-Resolve on those scripted battles.

Or to retreat from them and determine yourself if your ready to fight (if your enemy hasn't done so for you of course )

And the only playable factions that are involved in the opening scripted battles are Rome, Epeiros, and Carthage. Which still leaves you the option of playing Celtiberian, Cisalpine Gauls and the Massylians if you want nothing to do with scripted battles.

Thanks! But for some strange reason the FOE 1.1 installer didn't detect the RTW folder. The only mods I have are EB (mod foldered) and MNM mod, which for some reason doesn't work (starts up as the vanilla RTW). Running it on windows 7 ultimate 64 bit, it says it doesn't "find" the RTW folder. Gonna try again, first launching vanilla (to see if it's clean) and then trying to download FOE again.

    Thanks for ze help anyways!

EDIT: Odd... for some reason the BI folder was there, but once I put in the cd to test it I had to "install" it once again... now the FOE install is working great! Thank goodness I didn't delete the installer
