    Default SPQR attack prematurely?

    Hi all

Played this mod a few months back, loved every minute of it but Im feeling reluctant to get back into it as last time I had my empire going pretty well, was crossing an army across the SPQR's zone of control and they must of thought I was an enemy or something as next minute im getting attacked by their armies

Anyone else experienced this? My games been fully patched to the most recent version and everything so im not too sure what I could have done to aggravate them

    Thanks

I think its because you went to close to Rome that happened to me the first campaign and I started a new one didnt happen ever since.

That happens if you finish the turn in the senates land, they attack you. you can pass through but dont finish the turn there.

yeah as above, if you end a turn with your troops in their lands they will attack you. Its done to represent the rubicon which was an area which troops weren't allowed past.

That kinda sucks :/ means that I'll have to consistently ensure that, for example, if I send an army from southern italy to northern italy that a turn doesn't end within their lands. It'd be better if there was a message of some sort informing you of what was about to happen, such as telling them to get off their lands or something.

Ah well, thanks anyway guys starting my new campaign as soon as I've finished this, what's the best difficulty to play on in your opinion?

I never send them true Latinum, just out of precaution. Rather take one extra turn to get at the destination then getting attacked by SPQR to early in the game.
