Problem with the textures of the UI

This happens to me with the textures of the menus and the ui....

All drivers are updated.... grafics, sound...all, but when i start a battle and make a clic to one unit, the game hangs for a minute or two and the textures are corrupted.... and time again over the same...

My computer is a P 3,2 Ghz (no dual core), ati radeon HD3450 with 512 Mb, sound blaster audigy and 2Gb RAM. Windows XP SP3.

I reinstalled the game twice, even I disabled the sound qeu thinking the problem might be that, but nothing.

P.D.: This happens to me in the campaign mode too.

When was the last time you ran Windows Update manually and installed all opional software?

Have you tried Game Booster from www.iobit.com?

have you tried cleaning the case?

checked the connection to your monitor? how is the state of those cables?

Btw.. what is your drivers version?
I have this same problem with newest drivers but worked fine with the older ones. I try to downgrade my drivers and see what happens.

kohler have you deleted first your old drivers?

those installers can do their bad things.

so always uninstall first then install latter.

THere is no reports that his happens in the newer driver aside you

I use the latest version of ATI's Drivers.....what version use you?.

The drivers have no differences so far. Ive even cleaned my hard drives and reinstalled windows but no help so far.

Since you reinstalled Windows, did you:
1. Run Windows Update manually and install all software options until it said no more updates?
2. Disable the UAC?
3. Reinstall the motherboard chipest drivers?
4. Try installing http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en,
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en, and
http://www.microsoft.com/net/Download.aspx ?
5. The best drivers so far are 10.6.
