Diplomacy in RTW: Alexander

Is it possible to make diplomacy come back to RTW: Alexander??

Just add recruitment lines for diplomats in export_descr_buildings.txt...

Is there not more one would have to do to bring back diplomacy?? It sounds like too little to do.

What do you mean bring back diplomacy? Diplomacy is there in Alexander, it's not like the company removed the feature from the game, there's just nobody to perform it.

I guess I'm a necroposter...but I tried to add diplomacy in Alexander campaign (Remastered) and a CTD occurs every time a faction is willing to accept the ceasefire proposal (the CTD doesn’t occur if the other faction is not interested in peace). Does anyone have any idea how to fix this?
