    Default Middle Earth Enhanced - a mod compilation for TATW 1.41 - PATCH RELEASED July 1

    This is a compilation of some of the most popular sub mods for Third Age total war, that have the common goal of making the game more immersive and fleshed out by expanding the existing lore. The main goal of this compilation is to improve the vanilla (unmodified) TATW without making great changes to gameplay and AI.

    Installation Instructions
    1-Download and extract the Main Installation File to your Third_Age folder
    2-Download and extract the Patch File to your Third_Age folder
    3-Enjoy
    ***not save-game compatible***
    ***not compatible with any other sub mods***
    Known Bugs
    I'm still investigating the cause of a CTD while playing with Isengard, all other factions and features seem to be working, any information on this and other problems is appreciated.

    -Added Saruman with Orthanc bodyguards, improved biography, traits, ancs and unique model and texture
    -Added Círdan to High Elves as a starting General in Mithlond complete with traits, ancs, and biography
    -Removed Bard (dead at time) Bain is king of dale, Brand Heir
    -Added Dwalin and Oin as starting generals
    -Added new unique model and texture for Thranduil, Gimli and Aragorn
    -New Silvan general and captain + strat model
    -Fixed High Elven General and Captain textures
    -Added different bodyguards for Beastmasters , Dunlendings (from frome + strat map), Corsairs and Forlong.
    -Uruk / Dunlending / Beastmaster General Spawns
    -Added new unit, Mirkwood Rangers
    -Added new Galadhrim Bodyguard to the Silvan Elves
    -Reworked Eriador Textures

    The name of the compilation is based on these sub mods, Middle-Earth Lore and Visual Enhancement, whose creators have had a great participation in the making of the compilation. The mods share the common interest of improving the play value of the game, they are among the longest standing sub mods with regular updates made.

    Perhaps even more important than the one ring this middle-earth element could not be left out.


    makes Nazguls respawn when they are defeated in battle.
    These dreaded spectres are Sauron's most terrible servants and not without reason because they cannot be killed...


    spawns corsairs invasions to Gondor's coastlines
    Fueled by and an ancient grudge against the Kingdom of Gondor these pirates will mercilessly pillage and burn.

    ok so saruman is finished than...because the mod where you guys worked on him doesnt have a download link so im guessing because you have him in here that he functions and all that good jaz. and by the way great idea guys really...

    i was transfering the data over and got a message saying data was incomplete or corrupt..couldnt transfer...only for a single file i think it was ill have to double check on what one it was..but the rest whent fine...ill see if it makes my game crash..

    yup crashed my game....let me know if anybody else has this problem

    First off, good job to you and Aikanár, good to see you guys pool your skills and resources like this.

    Now here's a problem for me

    "C:\Users\X\Desktop\...blahblahblah...\loading_screen\Loading_screen_20.tga The File is corrupt"

    ^ seems you have a corrupt file in here mate. I've downloaded this twice on two different computers, resintalled TATW just to make sure. The file's corrupt mate

    This mod is made specifically for vanilla no other sub mods are supported. A lot of the features are already present in RC, if PB asks for permission to include other features I'm sure he will get them.

    Don't know how that happened , but it happened and I'll have to re-upload, it will take a couple of hours. For those that have downloaded you can delete the loading screen 20 and see if the game runs.

    Just one question... Is it compatible with RR/RC compilation whish is released earlier today?

    Is this mod compatible with FROME? Would sound great to combine this mod who adds a lot to the gameplay with a mod that adds factions.
