    Hi guys,

Please note that any attempt to mod our games to unlock DLC for free is seen as piracy and will be treated as such. As will the promotion or distribution of such mods or techniques.

    Got it!
btw, does the DLC do anything except for 6 new units and a historical battle?

edit: when will the pre-order units be purchasable? (Royal Scots Greys, Towacrzy's, La Grande Batterie de la Convention and HMS Elephant)
+rep if you answer me ^^

while you are here, can you tell us why the lancers were fixed by modders in an instant and CA could not get it right? The underarmed charge I mean... was there some sort of reason... i.e. the spear touch was not calculated properly?
The DLC content has two lancer units and I bet they are overhand attackers....

I just purchased the DLC btw... for NTW is the best total war yet. It reminds me of Vista VS Win7

Sail your ship as part of a fleet. Devs previously worked on: Darthmod, World of Warplanes, World of Tanks, RaceRoom, IL2-Sturmovik, Metro, STALKER and many other great games..

    Hello Mark,

Do you have any plans to do a NTW grand campaign with a bigger map i.e. the America's, Caribbean, Africa & India? NTW is an awesome game but I really miss the other theatres from Empire.

    Cheers

No ¬_¬ unless they want a perm ban or 5 point infraction i would advise you do not try to mod a unit already done by CA even when you bend it its still the original piece.

i have some knowledge of the law. I just want to know what consequences he was talking about when he said "will be treated as such."

Isn't this clear if you have some knowledge about law what consequences piracy has?

However, the dictation is clear: Hands off from DLC units and things in term of unlocking them by mod and no matter if in original version or if base of a new skinned unit and then being unlocked.
So keep it in the head and don't make it and everything is ok.

And there is nothing to discuss about in term of "if, when, maybe....". You are not allowed to do so, because this is illegal by law and will be treated like other piracy acts in the internet - "over and out".

I can offer some insight as to the implications of being caught, but I fear I may have clogged this thread enough.

i was just wondreing what the consequences are. it's a logical question in response to his post, to ask for more elaboration. always good to know what the consequences of a given action are.
