Yeah, its trivial but it might come in handy later... just wanted to link to it so that everything we know about the campaign map is in one place.

They have to make it first Granathar. Then, it'll be compatible with anything.

Is there a real chance of unlocking the map? And would it work with NTW? I would sell my soul to you all if you create a world map ETW mod in NTW. It would be glorious!

Update: I've managed to fix the exiting bug and found that ETW will make the BDI entries for you. Unfortunately I now have a new bug that prevents units leaving new resources. All the information is in this thread.

We know a lot about mapping and I'm currently trying to add a new resource to the map.

As ETW and NTW use the same engine anything that works in ETW should work in NTW. Though it will be much harder to create a world map in NTW as each campaign only has 1 theatre and I don't know if the transition areas still work.

If transition areas don't work you could always make it one big theatre called Earth

The main new finding is how to add a new resource without ETW crashing or having problems exiting. Sadly once soldiers enter this resource they can't leave it, so I haven't perfected it yet.

It's all detailed in this thread:

Good news!!! Thinking how to avoid the resource slot difficulties with army bug, I tried to add a city building slot in (admiralty, Denmark) and guess what it works!!!!! No crash, no exiting bug! It is a small victory but it is a great pleasure!!!! I'll try to convert now a minor to 5 slots.

That's probably because settlements are different to resources and town / ports. In the CAI entries settlements use building_slot and settlement entries, while resources and town / ports use building_slot and resource_slot entries. Though it does indicate that the source of the problem is probably the region_slot, rather than the building_slot.

I'll check the region_slot and see if I've made an error.

I made a minor city to major and it works like a charm. I can confirm that we can add slots in cities. That means that we can convert a minor to major without downgrading a major !!!

I'll proceed again to region slots. I had problem with the editor and I thought that I could not touch Binaries because of CTD but it was editor's save bug ! So many tests I had done are wasted... But I'll start over, no problem !

Some time ago I've tried to add more slots to cities following this tutorial, but in the end is was getting the exit bug. So What else is it need to do? Are you going to do a tutorial?

You followed wrong tutorial. I have made a complete one. But now everything changes. It will take some time to use the new way and simplify the procedure because it is a little complex for the moment, you have to use both editor and taw's esf2xml, etc.

3 slots is not my idea they are already present in Warpath. 2 slots can be done but it does not show me the houses around main buildings yes.
