I am interested in the hotseat. I can play with any faction.

Well looks like we had 5 before nieven posted. He can have my spot, so he can get started in a hs.
Ok I'll take anything
(Long post - sorry for any grammar mistakes made)
We currently seem to have enough players, and now we only need to make this Crusades hotseat a reality.

Egyptian_Viking -- The Byzantine Empire
Captainnorway -- The Turks

As for the rules we will have to discuss them together so that everyone is as happy as possible.
Here's my proposal for some basic rules and preliminary rules adapt to change:
Administrative:
Long campaign.
Manage all settlements.
Hard / Hard Difficulty.
Basic Rules:
1) Your turn must be played and the save uploaded within 24 hours (Special circumstances will allow extensions)
Make sure you PM and leave a visitor message to the next person in line. If you repeatedly fail to do your turn without notifying anyone, you will be removed from the hotseat.
2) No campaign map exploits*
3) You are allowed to reload your saves as many times you want to.
Campaign Rules:
1) No Crusades or Jihads are allowed. You cannot call or join a crusade / jihad. If a crusade / jihad is called then you must ignore it.
2) You may give regions to another faction, but all units which appear as a result of the transfer must be disbanded immediately.
Transfer of settlements at risk of capture is not allowed.
3) Bribing is allowed.
4) Forts are allowed at a maximum of 1 fort per region per player.
Battle Rules:
1) Battles against other players must be auto-resolved. Battles against the AI can be fought.
2) No heroic victories against player-controlled factions.
3) You must post screenshots of all battles against other players: deployment screen and results screen. Note – you do not need to post screenshots for battels strongly in your favour i.e. - 1,000 VS 100, but please mention the battle in your post when uploading the save. (The Odds and Results windows must not be edited in any way. Editing out Map information, Cash, and any Units/Agents/Regions not involved in the attack is fine.) Composition of the army must not be edited and being visible.
4) Armies that are defeated in battle by a player that comes after them in the turn list may not move the following turn. This is to make it fair for people who are defeated by players that come before them in the turn list. Attacking defeated armies the following turn is allowed.
5) You are not allowed to lure an ambushing army a tile further.
6) Extermination of settlements is not allowed. You may sack or occupy them.
Agent Rules:
1) MAX 2 assassins is allowed in total. This is to prevent assassins from taking up a too big role in the campaign.
2) Assassins may only kill family members, princesses and generals if they have a success-rate of 60% or higher.
2) Spies are only allowed to open gates if they have a success-rate bigger than 50%. (not including 50%)
3) Spies aren't allowed to spread plague.
Building Rules:1) No destroying of any buildings is allowed if the settlement is at risk of capture.
2) On the turn you capture an enemy settlement, you are only allowed to destroy inns and cultural buildings. This rule stays in effect until you have held a captured settlement for 3 turns.
3) After you hold a captured settlement for 3 turns, buildings can be destroyed without restriction (provided the settlement is not at risk of capture.)
*Exploit list:-No exploiting of merchants in the form of merchant stacks.
- No movement point exploits. However, sending your general to attack a settlement, and then bringing the rest of the army is allowed.
- No surrounding armies with smaller stacks to deny a retreat. You are allowed to block bridges or river crossings.
- You cannot kill agents by surrounding them with troops.
- No recruitment pool increasing
- No attacking of ships inside a port
- No pushing enemy agents with your own agents. (You can push them with your armies, just don't squash them.)
If you suspect one of the players to have broken any rules or cheated, please contact the Admin and ask him to check it.

I'd disagree with a bunch of these rules, just ask to copy some rules from a similar HS.![]()
Ok I'll be on standby, incase someone doesn't want to play.
I could create the hotseat, maybe admin if no one else offers, tho I'm pretty busy so I can't promise to be very active. Better clear up the player-factions list and rules in the meantime.
Im interested in joining as a player, maybe you guys want to switch to Teutonic campaign? it has more factions to choose from.
I think the rules are ok, only can add rule that player may not destroy buildings in frontier regions or something like that.
I will take Egypt.
We could make 2 HS if some would join both.
I'd join Teutonic as well.![]()
I'll join the second hs!
Guys I have two factions open in Tyrants right now, it is a GS hotseat so you get rewards!
Currently Portugal and Aragon are open, both are in good condition to survive, although Aragon is in a bit of a hole right now I have no doubt they will get out.
Is there an easy download for ss 6.4? If yes then I can join tyrants.
Any news with the 2nd hotseat? Do you guys prefer Teutonic?
I want in on the 2nd hs. Teutonic is good.
I'm in!)
Maybe I would like to play as Lithuania or Norway in Teutonic hs. Are we going to install bugfix to make Norway & the Golden Horde available?
