I actually don't like the series too much, cliché is spitted out at every word of the characters.

Interesting Show - I thought the Final 2 shows of the season where a let down, the homage ones King Kong and Seven Samurai were interesting. But I have to admit my son and daughter are addicted, they watch it religiously (and I find it a nice break from having to talk about sponge bob )- I made the mistake of joking I accidentally deleted the show from the DVR and they when running to in tears to my wife...

The development of Anakin is not bad and highlights a major mistake Lucas made in the new series Anakin needed to be an adult from the opening of movie one. I have to say I mostly curious what their going to do with Asoka - they established Anikian is flying of the Jedi map with some regularity and Asoka is also considered reckless. Is the real final episode going to see Anakin cut her down or what - or is her occasional adventure with other master Jedi suggesting she will leave him and so just die off camera with the other Jedi?

Been watching The Clone Wars off and on though, it's kind of becoming a run on now sadly just like most things they go over 1 Season. Though I normally do not like TV shows which have more than a dozen episodes if it is ment to tell some kind of story, hense why Clone Wars is kind of um....... as bad as a bad anime, but is from the West insted.

    I beg to differ.

I'm certainly not a huge fan of animated shows. But since I like Star Wars, CW has a special meaning for me. In fact, I don't even watch any other animated show. Out of those that I've watched in my life, it is definitely one of the most photo-realistic.

Besides, I'm not the only one with such an opinion.

The episode was firmly impressive. "Clone Wars" is likely the most photo-realistic animated TV series ever produced. The surround-sound detail was striking. The series is shot in high definition and it shows – images have that rich Renaissance painting quality familiar to HD fans.

And again, I didn't say there's nothing more photo-realistic than Clone Wars.

Beg all you want but if something doesn't approach photo-realism to begin with, what's the point calling it the most photo-realistic? Even the Disney and Pixar productions aren't going for photo-realism yet and Clone Wars isn't even in their league budget wise.

Pfft... I did not call it the most photo-realistic. I called it one of the most photo-realistic animated shows I have ever seen on TV. Get it?

Characters are made of painted cardboard. Battles are hilariously small given the scale of the universe. Themes and plots are simple to the extreme.

I suppose I shouldn't expect much seeing as it is for children and pre-teens. I must admit though, I see the show now and again to get my fix.

Pre-teens? When I was a pre-teen I watched TV shows so harsh it would wrip your soul in half out of pure sorrow, and brake you down into tears. At least at the time it seemed so.

I dunno when I was growing up I saw a lot of violent movies as my parents didn't give a flying monkey tail, and I became the most moral person in my entire family, when I remember the Scifi Channel used to play random freeky stuff like Zombie movies, and some weird animes which they had a lot of blurred moments do to origianlly having well things showing which shouldn't be showing, but gosh darn you watch peoples arms blow up on it still without a blur.

I tried watching this and its too much of a kids show for me. Has plots like they were off of Thundercats or TMNT.

Anyways I enjoyed the original clone wars series better, but I guess Lucas needed to sell toys.

His story telling is more suitable for children anyways, never really has even nor most likely ever will be a great director or story writer.

Though I do agree, The Clone Wars is kind of very... well.... dimwited plot wise, the king of the Pirate like character is the only really kewl character in the entire show thus far. He has shown up on a couple of episodes. He has a Han Solo like scoundralness to him.
