Army Window View
Is there a way to organize the different units in my army as they appear in the Window on the bottom of the screen? For Example, can it be organized so the General is in the top left, then all my cannons, then howitzers, then Line infantry...etc. So I can easily see how many of each I have in a given stack. Right now when I merge different units to create an army the units appear in no particular order (except the general is always in the top left).
Thanks

Not really ... although forming them into groups will give a similiar result but it will bump your general to the right if he is not included in a group.

If you group units and then immediately ungroup, don't they then stay adjacent to each other in the HUD? I know it does for M2, but can't recall if it does for Empire, as I don't reorganize units outside of grouping.

Re: Army Window View
Wait, are we talking about the campaign or the battle map? I assumed campaign, as it's a feature I feel like players have been asking about for years. In Medieval 2, you could move a unit away from an army and back in to rearrange the order (at least I remember doing that). I sort of think that doesn't work in Empire. Maybe if you moved ALL your line infantry out, waited a turn, and then merged? I'd have to mess around with the mechanic and see.
I believe the battle screen reflects the order in the campaign map, but now that you mention it I'm not sure I've ever paid specific attention.

Re: Army Window View
To arrange your units in campaign mode Move your units out of the army then put them back one at a time, it will auto arrange them as Calvary > Artillery > Infantry
