strange stuff happens upon PC start up

yeah i know the title sucks, but i really didn't know what to call this thread.

anyways when ever i start my pc up the installation setup for whatever the latest program i installed pops up. for example the last thing i installed on my pc was Caesar 3 and now when i start my computer up the installation setup for Caesar 3 pops up. before Caesar it was like this with RTW and before that it was m2tw, this problem has been going on since i wiped my hard drive and reloaded everything a couple of weeks ago.

so any ideas on what this problem is and how can i fix it?

Check the 'startup' tab of msconfig.

To open msconfig type it into the 'run' dialogue box and click enter.

Start>Run>type msconfig>press enter (XP)

Take the disc out of the drive.

That doesn't explain why Autorun is activating on startup if the disc is in the drive....

@Templar Knight - Does this only happen when the disc for that particular game is in the drive? If so, then check the Autorun settings on the drive itself - turn them off and you probably won't see this anymore. Good luck!

hmm, i will have to check this out, never paid attention if the cd was in the drive
