    Default Change Admiral Ship

Hey this is probably a stupid question but I can't find anything about it. Is it possible to move your admiral from one ship to another? If it is how do you do it?

I do not believe so once an admiral is assigned to a ship thats it he is there for good shame as it would be a good and very logical feature for him to be moved from ship to ship as they are damaged and or if he started on a smaller ship and you build a first rate for him but alas no .

Ok cool thanks. THe only way I have found is to scuttle the ship he is on and he will move to another ship.

This is because admirals are mythical creatures of the sea magically wedded to their ship.
Their feet are actually growing into the planks.
Just for once a year, an admiral is allowed to go ashore to find true love

A word of advice: recruit admirals one ship at a time. Because if you recruit an admiral from a stack of ships, you might be unpleasantly surprised by which ship he actually ends up on.

There is one costly way to do it. First have the ship he is on and his new ship in a separate fleet. Then destroy (scuttle) his ship. He will appear on his new ship. I always do this with Cornwallis who starts his life on a 50 gunner and is very sure to die if I auto resolve.
Officer to a soldier who refuses to fight: There three types of soldiers who don't have to fight. They are called KIA, MIA and POW and you are not one of them.

    Tosa will be missed.

That's is a bit stupid , but a lot of those things in any Total War but we still playing it eh? Anyway for me it's better to scupper my Sloop , Brig ect from begining and move experienced admiral to some ship-of-the-line admiral one than keeping them on that frigate till end of game.
